以下便是最重要的一個圖，圖中可見每次衰退出現，美國工人每週平均工時都會大跌（見下圖灰色區域），但現在平均每週工時升至42小時，係68年來新高。咁個理論簡單來說，就係如果真係衰退，就唔會咁多野做啦！ ：O）
