剛過去的週日，OPEC與露西亞（Russia）等有份參與減產行動的產油國在阿曼開會，以檢討各產油國有否依約減產。布蘭特期油在上週曾升穿70美元，為2014年大跌後首次；因此這次會議亦俾機會外界了解OPEC等減產國是否覺得「收夠籌」，可以在明年不再減產。
就總結OPEC週日會議而言，我覺得以下Bloomberg與沙特阿拉伯能源部長Khalid Al-Falih及露西亞能源部長Alexander Novak的專訪最值得一看：
一個重要的資訊是沙特及露西亞都支持OPEC與露西亞在今年底，現行的減產協議完成後繼續合作，維持油市場的穩定。
“The world’s two biggest oil producing and exporting countries can continue their cooperation for the good of the crude industry, for the good of stability,” Novak said.
“As we approach the re-balancing by the end of 2018, we need to extend the framework but not necessarily in the production levels,” Al-Falih said.
不過，到底今年之後他們的合作方式是否繼續聯合減產，就為未知之數。露西亞只強調今年過後，就算不再減產亦會繼續與OPEC協商。
另一點就是他們都同意減產行動有效，並指原油市場有機會在今年內回歸供求平衡；但減產行動最少要維持至今年底。
Al-Falih亦在訪問中強調，美國頁岩油對他們而言並非威脅，因為需求上升及委內瑞拉的產量下降可以消化美國油產量上升的影響。
